STARS partners meet in Charleroi, Belgium to set up the Strategic Alliances.

All 17 partners participating in the project met in Charleroi (Belgium) to shape, prepare, and coordinate the Strategic Alliances' launch among the SMEs of the European countries involved. A total of 150 SMEs will benefit directly from the Strategic Alliances.

The meeting was hosted by CETIC - CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE IN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES.

The meeting, held on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2022, started with a video meeting with Giorgio Travaini, Head of Research of Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking. This was followed by an intense brainstorming session on the generation, management and promotion of Strategic Alliances involving SMEs. The proposal of the blockchain network that will support the project was also introduced.

The second and final day was devoted entirely to the design of collaborative events to generate complicities among the companies and stakeholders participating in this disruptive initiative.

STARS is fully oriented towards the recovery, transition and resilience of passenger and freight mobility through the use of advanced technologies to overcome, adapt and boost the several challenges Europe is currently facing.
